Treat 61.8 as a zone, not a magnet

The golden ratio on a chart is a band where reactions have historically clustered, not a promise that price will tag a precise pip.

We draw 61.8% as a highlighted band that includes a little room on either side, especially on instruments that gap at the Bangkok open. Treating the level as a razor line trains the eye to see “misses” that are not misses at all.

During the practicum, instructors mark both the exact ratio and a neighbouring structure high or low. If those two disagree, the structure mark wins the conversation. Fibonacci is a measuring stick; it does not outrank the market’s own footprints.

This is also why we refuse countdown language in class. A retracement that has not arrived yet is simply unfinished work, not a delayed destiny.
